PROJECT: Replace Cooling Tower at US Federal Building Anchorage, Alaska Value: $460,000 Description: This project required the demolition of the existing cooling tower atop the 6th floor of the US Federal Building in Anchorage, removal of the roof and hazardous materials beneath the cooling tower, and installation of a new cooling tower and associated controls. PROJECT: Renovate 9th Floor, Juneau Federal Building Juneau, Alaska Value: $700,000 Description: As a subcontractor, provide for the renovation of federal offices in Juneau, Alaska. Work included demolition and construction of specialized offices for the US Government's General Services Administration. PROJECT: Repair Flooring US Air Force, Elmendorf Air Force Base Anchorage, Alaska Value: $42,000 Description: Project included removal of existing flooring and extensive repair of degraded concrete flooring, installation of rubberized flooring in industrial work areas. PROJECT: Design/Build: VA Administrative space phases I and II US Department of Veterans Affairs Anchorage, Alaska Value: $1.5 million Description: Provided demolition and construction of administrative areas for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Work included demolition of existing retail space in a local mall, and construction of the administrative areas including; new HVAC systems, new electrical service and transformers, structural/carpentry, etc. PROJECT: Repair and Repaint Federal Building Penthouses US General Services Administration Anchorage, Alaska Value: $26,000 Description: Repair cracking and degradation in the mechanical penthouses at the US Federal Building in Anchorage, Alaska. Work included repair of cracking structures and repainting. PROJECT: Alterations to Out Patient Clinic Department of Veterans Affairs Anchorage, Alaska Value: $73,000 Description: Provide tenant improvements to the out patient clinics at the Anchorage Department of Veterans Affairs. Items include construction of new offices, electrical, plumbing, and associated work to ensure that the clinical offices are completed with no impact on the ongoing clinic operations. PROJECT: GSA Multiple Acquisition Task Order Contract US General Services Administration Anchorage, Alaska Value: up to $25 million Description: Veterans Alaska is among five contractors who were awarded a Multiple Acquisition Task Order Contract (MATOC) by the General Services Administration. This contract will provide construction services for Anchorage, Juneau, and Fairbanks Alaska. PROJECT: Centers for Disease Control & Prevention Build out US GSA Anchorage, Alaska Value: $41k Description: Provided new offices and furnishings for the Centers for Disease and Prevention at the US Federal Building located in Anchorage, Alaska.
PROJECT: SEISMIC UPGRADE OF VA DOMICILIARY US Veterans Administration Anchorage, Alaska Value: $3.35 million Description: Construction of a 2,200 square
foot addition to the existing 50-bed in-patient treatment facility, installation of seismic upgrades for entire facility. The seismic upgrades included removal of existing asbestos-containing drywall, installation of seismic controls, and re-installation of wall/ceiling systems. Replacement of existing HVAC system, including expansion of mechanical rooms and hazardous materials abatement. Provided upgrades to interior finishes, construction of new offices and ADA compliant restrooms.
PROJECT: Update Fire Suppression System US Veterans Administration Anchorage, Alaska Value: $50k Description: Provided removal of an existing metal "Pos-Loc" fire sprinkler system in three separate apartment complexes and replaces with CPVC systems. Project was design/Build to include municipal permits, design, and installation.
PROJECT: Multiple Upgrades to US Veterans Administration Domiciliary US Veterans Administration Anchorage, Alaska Value: $143k Description: Provide numerous upgrades including interior design, painting, replacement of the existing flagpole, installation of security surveillance system, and installation of motorized blinds.
PROJECT: UPGRADE US ARMY RECRUITING OFFICES US Army Corps of Engineers Anchorage, Alaska Value: $13k Description: Renovation of existing US Army Recruiting offices, Dimond Center Mall, Anchorage, Alaska. Includes complete removal and replacement of flooring, and refinish existing walls.
PROJECT: Replace Flooring US Veterans Administration Anchorage, Alaska Value: $105k Description: Replacement of carpeting and vinyl flooring for Veterans Administration Healthcare.
PROJECT: Renovate Science Laboratory USDA Forest Service Anchorage, Alaska Value: $14k Description: Removal of wall systems, paint, and repair of flooring. Installation of floor mounted electrical and data outlets in Forestry Service Conference Room.
